Bethesda Cyclethon "Riding for Kids" 2007

It was a great day for "Bethesda Ride for Kids" cyclethon fundraiser. Steve and Jamie helped out with the fundraising and did a great job! Jamie made his goal of 10k and Steve did the whole 50k on a home made tandem bike with a new friend, with out peddles! I tried to do 50k...but I just could not do it. 30k was enough for me!

The day ended with a pig roast and Jamie pushing his dad in the pool, without a bathing suit. Which was Jamie's best part of the day.

Flood or Not to Flood...is the Question!

Jamie and I went for a bike ride along the dike at our house the other day and it’s pretty close to the top. If the water level only rises another meter and half as predicted we should be safe. But it looks pretty scary!

This was a field for the cows now it's lake!

An Awsome Night!

What a great benefit concert! Over $16,000 was raised on both nights and over 1000 people were in the audience on Sunday! Marry and Steve did a wonderful job sharing. The best part was seeing the special bond that developed between Steve and Marry; you could see it in their eyes and feel it in your own heart.
Language barriers do not separate people when you share the love of God.
A specail thanks to our friends that came and to those who wish the could have.
